Hukumar Kula da Lafiya Matakin Farko ta Kasa (NPHCDA) ta ce Yara 2,300 ’yan ƙasa da shekaru biyar da mata 145 masu haihuwa ne suke mutuwa a kowace rana a Najeriya, mafi yawansu a Arewacin kasar.
Shugaban Hukumar Dokta Muyi Aina, ya bayyana cewa har yanzu mata da yawa ne ke mutuwa sakamakon matsalolin da suka shafi ciki da haihuwa.
Kazalika ya ce yara da yawa suna mutuwa kafin su cika shekaru biyar da haihuwa saboda cututtuka da ake iya magancewa.
Shugaban hukumar ya bayyana cewa yawancin sassan Arewacin Najeriya, musamman a yankunan karkara da marasa galihu, akwai ƙalubalen rashin muhimman ayyukan da kayayyakin kula da lafiyar mata da yara.
Dokta Muyi Aina ya sanar da hakan ne a yayin taron tattaunawa da malaman addini wanda hukumar da haɗin gwiwar Gidauniyar Zaman Lafiya da Cigaba ta Sarkin Musulmi suka shirya a Abuja a ranar Litinin.
A cewarsa, a halin yanzu Najeriya na fama da yaduwar cutar shan inna mai nau’in 2 (cVPV2), inda aka gano mutum 70 da ke ɗauke da ita kananan hukumomi 46 da ke fadin jihohin arewa 14.
Ya ce, “Wannan wata alama ce ta karuwar yaduwar kwayar cutar shan inna saboda ƙarancin allurar rigakafin cutar da kuma ƙin yin sa.
“Dole ne a tabbatar kowace mace tana samun kulawar haihuwa daga ƙwararrun ungozoma, sannan kowane yaro ya kammala yin rigakafi kamar yadda aka tsara na ƙasa da kuma wanda ake yi a gida-gida.
Ya bayyana cewa malaman addini su ma masu fafutukar kare rayuwar mabiyansu ne, kuma tasirin da suke da shi a kan iyaye zai iya kawar da mutuwar yara daga cututtuka ta hanyar kariya da alluran rigakafi.
A nasa bangaren, Sarkin Musulmi, Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar III, ya ce shugabannin addini da na gargajiya sun taka rawar gani wajen wayar da kan jama’a kan rigakafin da suka haɗa da kawar da cutar shan inna da sauransu a kasar nan.
Ya umarce su da kada su yi kasa a gwiwa wajen sadaukar da kansu don tallafa wa harkokin kiwon lafiya da karancin gata a kasar
